We have two creameries in Scotland which specialise in making our delicious cheddar brands.

Our state-of-the-art Caledonian Creamery in the coastal town of Stranraer produces award-winning Seriously®, Galloway and McLelland Mature cheddar. The southwest of Scotland has traditionally been the home of the finest cheese making in Scotland.  Its mild climate produces lush pastures which make for ideal conditions for dairy farming. 

Our Orkney cheddar is produced at Britain’s most northerly creamery in Kirkwall, Orkney. The creamery was originally set up in 1946 to utilise the milk surplus which became available after the 60,000 service men and women who had been drafted onto the island during the Second World War were sent home. This traditional island cheddar is made using the dry stir method, giving the cheese its creamy texture which has won it many awards.
